Julia Betz is General Director and Head of Plants Malaysia at the Dräxlmaier Group, responsible for the company’s manufacturing operations and strategic development in Malaysia. She leads two manufacturing plants supporting leading premium automotive OEMs, driving operational performance, competitiveness, and sustainable growth within a dynamic automotive environment.
With more than 14 years at Dräxlmaier, Julia has built extensive expertise across automotive manufacturing, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain management. She began her career in logistics before advancing into project leadership roles managing complex operational and transformation initiatives.
After relocating to Malaysia, she served as Operations Manager in Kulim, where she contributed significantly to plant performance, operational stability, and efficiency improvements. Since assuming leadership of Dräxlmaier’s Malaysian operations in 2026, she has focused on strengthening operational excellence, organizational capability, and long-term manufacturing competitiveness.
Julia is recognized for her performance-driven leadership, international operational experience, and strong focus on continuous improvement, organizational development, and high-performing teams.
