As Vice President of Commercial for DP World’s logistics business in South East Asia, Julio Bellota is responsible for driving regional growth, building strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored supply chain solutions across key markets. Based in Bangkok, he focuses on unlocking commercial opportunities and strengthening DP World’s position as a trusted logistics provider in the Asia Pacific region.

Julio has over 18 years of international experience in the shipping and logistics industry, having held senior roles across Asia, the Americas, and Europe. Known for his results-oriented approach and ability to navigate complex environments, he has led high-impact trade and commercial strategies at global firms including CMA CGM, APL, and CNC. His career has spanned regional hubs such as Singapore, Miami, Hong Kong, and Mexico City, giving him a global perspective and deep understanding of diverse markets.

Prior to joining DP World, Julio was Managing Director at CNC and previously served as Deputy Chief Trade Officer at CMA CGM, where he led the Transpacific and Latin America trades. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in developing end-to-end logistics offerings and leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results.

Julio holds an Executive MBA from Singapore Management University, where he graduated on the Dean’s List with a Leadership Scholarship. He has also completed executive programmes at Imperial Business School and Harvard Business School Online. A fluent English and Spanish speaker, Julio is passionate about team leadership, innovation in logistics, and driving long-term commercial value.
