Ts. Mohd Sharulnizam Bin Sarip is the Chief Technology Officer at the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) with 20 years’ experience in automotive sector especially in the area of Vehicle Construction, Standards/Regulations, Testing, Road Vehicle Acts and Policy. 

Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii), is an agency under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). Serving as the focal point, coordination centre and think tank for the nation’s automotive industry, it functions to enhance technology, human capital, supply chain, market outreach and aftersales capabilities of all automotive stakeholders and ecosystems. 

He is specialising in Vehicle Construction, Standards/Regulations, Testing, Road Vehicle Acts and Policy especially Malaysia National Automotive Policy (NAP). He is the co-chairman for National Standards Committee for Transport (NSC L), Chairman for TC13 WG1 Battery Passport and Deputy President for the Intelligent Transport System(ITS) Malaysia which is responsible to develop the standards and technology development for automotive and mobility industry in Malaysia.
