Rizal’s journey with BMW Group Malaysia spans nearly 20 years, beginning as an entry-level executive at the Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Malaysia and progressing to his current role leading PDC/RDC operations in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
He is responsible for managing the parts supply chain network serving more than 20 countries across the Asia Pacific and Oceania regions.
Between 2013 and 2016, he was assigned to BMW’s headquarters in Munich, where he was responsible for rolling out Lean Management across BMW’s global RDC network. As a Certified Lean Professional, he worked alongside other Lean experts in Munich to drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across various BMW locations and departments, both centrally and internationally.
Growing through experience, he has also overseen major transformation programs at PDC Malaysia, including warehouse migration and expansion, an IT system transition, and the successful management of numerous logistical challenges over the years.
