As the head of aftersales parts regional supply chain management for southeast Asia, Lay manages the continuous flow of spare parts from suppliers to regional warehouse in Malaysia, then to country distributors and dealers of Isuzu.
P&L on one hand, he also magnifies the importance of delivery lead time through collaborated stock holding policies across the supply chain and efficient, systematic processes in procurement, warehousing, distribution and logistics in between to shorten vehicle downtimes.
Lay works with business decision makers and leaders in countries where growing number of similar localisation goals have shaped different regulations through permits for both exports and imports.
Spearheading alignments across 3S (Vehicle Sales, Spare Parts and Servicing), he influences coordinated efforts for efficiency across multiple channels and entities.
