Dr. Susanne Lehmann
International Automotive Executive

Dr. Susanne Lehmann is an international automotive executive with 30 years of leadership experience across Asia, Europe and the Americas. Her career with Volkswagen Group has spanned Managing Director and leading roles in production, global supply chain, logistics and industrialisation across China, Germany, Poland, Mexico, Argentina, the United States and Southeast Asia.

Most recently, she served as Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia, leading the business in a complex automotive and regulatory environment. Previously, she headed logistics for SAIC Volkswagen in PR China, overseeing operations across ten factories, producing 1.6m vehicles annually, with 1,236 employees and a €762m budget.

Her expertise includes global operations, manufacturing, supply chain transformation, industrialisation, digitalisation and international business development. She holds a PhD in Global Production and Logistics Concepts and is a Certified Advisory Board Chair.

Today, Susanne focuses on connecting industrial expertise, businesses and opportunities between Europe, China and South East Asia.
